At Calvary Chapel Reno-Sparks, we believe those who serve on ministry teams should reflect a life of worship, excellence, and devotion to Christ—both publicly and privately. Whether you're leading with a mic, behind a camera, or mixing audio in the booth, we serve as ministers first, technicians second.
General Qualifications (All Teams)
✔ A Growing Relationship with Jesus – You should be a believer who is actively pursuing a life that honors God.
✔ Faithfulness in Fellowship – Regularly attend services at Calvary Chapel Reno-Sparks.
✔ Commitment to the Mission – Agree with the vision, doctrine, and leadership of CCRS.
✔ A Servant’s Heart – Willing to serve others humbly, joyfully, and with excellence.
✔ Team Mindset – Open to feedback, faithful in communication, and willing to put the team’s needs above personal preferences.
Worship
Vocalists & Instrumentalists leading the congregation into God’s presence through music.

A lifestyle of worship beyond the platform
Regular time in the Word and prayer
Submission to spiritual leadership
Teachable spirit and love for the church body

Proficiency in your instrument or vocal part
Ability to learn songs independently using provided tools (Planning Center, chord charts, etc.)
Availability for Thursday rehearsals and Sunday services
Preparedness and punctuality for all call times
Openness to coaching and continual improvement
Production
Those supporting worship and teaching through sound, lighting, video, and livestream systems.

Same spiritual standards as Worship Team
Willingness to serve behind the scenes with excellence
Flexibility and patience under pressure

Quick learner and problem-solver
Comfortable with (or open to training in) sound boards, ProPresenter, lighting consoles, livestream systems, and camera operation
Dependable and ready to serve with excellence during services and events
Consistent communication with the Production Lead and readiness to jump in when needed
Media
Those who help tell the story of what God is doing through creative visuals and digital content.

A heart to serve the church body by amplifying the message visually
Commitment to being dependable, discreet, and collaborative

Experience or willingness to learn design, photography, or video editing
Eye for detail and understanding of visual storytelling
Ability to follow branding and style guidelines
Familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing platforms is a plus
Flexible availability during services and special events
