Upstream exists to engage the questions, doubts, and cultural conversations shaping our world through digital media. Through both short-form and long-form content, Upstream uses social media as a mission field, connecting Scripture to everyday life and exploring how the gospel speaks to personal struggles as well as the broader issues influencing culture.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to help people make sense of life and culture through a biblical perspective. Through timely and accessible media, we share clear, gospel-centered truth for those who are searching, questioning, or curious about faith. We aim to make the message of Scripture understandable and relevant to everyday life.
Apologetics functions within this foundation as a means of evangelism and discipleship, helping people engage Scripture faithfully and grow in their understanding of the gospel.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Upstream is grounded in historic Christian faith and doctrine:
The Bible is the final authority for faith, truth, and life.
Scripture is trustworthy, sufficient, and relevant for today’s questions.
Salvation comes by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
Jesus Christ is Lord, Savior, and the ultimate revelation of truth.
